CHAPTER 2: LIGHT EM ON FIRE

“Good morning Gentlemen. I meet with you here today to discuss the dissolvement of BA. According to the councils discussion, Hamstrr of OG and Bandobras of OG have both pushed forward their hesitations to the R + L expansion. At this point, DM is willing to offer sanction for the members of BA for the good of the server in Aristotle. I motion forth an agreement to increase the time set for removal of the BA headquarters by 3 weeks… All In favor?” Ragefish looked around. She was extremely calm and objective on this day.

All leaders of the council agreed in unison across the teams of R + L, VIC, OG, DM and LEF.

“Very well, I begin to evoke the declaration to migrate the lives of BA members into our alliance. This motions a halt on any current war and delays by 3 weeks. Meeting is adjourned”. Ragefish nodded at the council and then began to walk out of the room. The rest of the leadership closed their holographic screens. Ragefish checked her text transmissions and saw a message from Hamstorr requesting a more casual meeting on their station. She smiled then put the transmission away. She had been incredibly busy. She messaged Redrum and asked to see what her ongoing schedule had looked like for the new few weeks. He sent back a transmission with a laundry list of to-do items and back to back meetings.

*hmm.. wouldn’t kill me to have a little fun*

She sent Hamstorr a message back requesting to meet in a much different and unexpected location

Meet me in the dark station in Formax of the lower and neutral galaxy. There’s an old dive bar I like there called the Phantom HQ. See you there in a few hours.

Ragefish was actually excited to meet up in a more casual setting. A few hours had gone by and she messaged her officers to let them know she would be out for the evening.

“Okay fish! Thanks for letting us know. Be sure you are safe! You know I equipped your space craft with unique cloaking abilities since you last flew. It was going to be a surprise but in case you need to use it for whatever….”

“Red! I’m going to be just fine. I’m just meeting up with Hamstorr…maybe a few other OG guys”. She shut the cockpit to her spacecraft as the loading dock open. She set her coordinates and began to fly out towards Formax. Her fleet used a hyper boost to thrust her spacecraft swiftly through systems at an untold pace.

She finally arrived to see Hamstrrs spacecraft on the space bar’s loading dock. She walked in a casual and relaxed pace. It had been a long time since she felt relaxed and excited to shoot the shit and have a beer. Hamstrr sat at the bar with a glass of Whiskey in hand. He looked over and smiled as he waved her over.

“Glad you could meet up. What’s your poison?” Hamstrr had a cheerful demeanor with an unmistakable strength behind it. The kind of, ‘hey I’m your buddy but don’t fuck with me’ kind of persona that felt like a breath of fresh air to Ragefish as she observed him.

“Redrum.” She said with a serious face. “2 ice cubes”

“Damn… you like the hard stuff…okay redrum it is!” He waved at the bartender who walked over in an unusually questionable manner. “We are going to take 4 shots of Redrum sir!” Hamstrr ordered but turned to Ragefish as he raised his brow confused by the bartenders sudden awkward behavior. “Hello? Did you hear me?”

The bartender stood still as he looked at Ragefish with a distinct view of hatred. She tilted her head looked up and blinked twice activating a contact that scanned the bartenders face. She got a transmission from her member Glory_Hole who had be recently hit on a member of UT. Ragefish knew that UT was by no means an ally, but they had always held a mutual respect for borders. She looked up and started to scroll down to read a few messages of their alliance log showing that Glory_Hole had been attacked on a few occasions. She started to survey her lands and in the screen on her wrist and saw multiple planets being invaded by UT.

She took a breath and then calmly looked at the bartender and repeated softly, “Excuse me sir… what’s your name…” She looked to see his name laser engraved on his armored shirt. “Hildq, my friend here said 4 shots of redrum please. But would you mind grabbing 5 shots for us?” She smiled as the bartender reluctantly turned around to pour their drinks. She looked at Hamstrr from the corner of her eye with a skepticism. As though he was reading her mind, he looked at her with a face of concern and the slightly nodded as if to tell her, ‘I’ll follow your lead here’.

Hildq the bartender brought back 5 shots of redrum. Hamstorr was confused as to why she had ordered 5. He thought 2 per person would be plenty, especially since Redrum was known to be the strongest substance in the galaxy that could sometimes cause hallucinations.

She began to speak as she raised a glass, “Here we raise the first shot and we honor our desires.” She clinked the glass with Hamstorr and they both shot it back feeling an immediate sense of a rush as they set the glass down. She raised the second with a smile, “Here we raise the second shot, to catching thieves, and shits and liars”. Hamstorr looked back at Ragefish slightly perplexed but more so intrigued. They both drank and he began to feel the energy course in his veins. She grabbed the 5 shot and brought it in the air looking at the bartender. “Here I raise the last shot…to set my enemy on FIRE!” She threw the shot of Redrum all over Hildq then pressed a button on her wrist releasing a torch that set him in flames. He screamed to the top of his lungs as he pressed a detonation button declaring war on DM. Hamstorr stood up and pulled a gun from his holster and shot the AI protective bots that Hildqs bar had. UT members began to circle Hamstorr and Ragefish as the surveyed the surroundings back to back.

“I got left” She said.

“I got right” He smirked.

She pulled out a metallic whip and pulled the first victim in be the neck and pulled their face into the bartop rendering them unconscious. Hamstorr grabbed a canon gun from his back and started to shoot from his side. They both cleared the room in a matter of seconds and began to run down the hallway to their ships while a deep red emergency light flickered coupled with a piercing alarm. They hopped in their spacecrafts and set coordinates to the DM headquarters. The loading dock door began to close but Hamstorr and Ragefish flew out just in time. They landed in the HQ and were greeted by the officers of DM. Glory_Hole stood there quite shaken up.

“Fish! Are you alright? What happened! What should we do to get ready!” Redrum frantically said as she exited her spacecraft.

She began walking down the halls as they followed her.

“I want the 5-4-C section sanctioned near the headquarters. I want a watch dog on all 4 fucking lots. I want every big hitter we have ready in approximately 12 hours. I want the officers ready to take ownership of battles if I can’t be online. And FOR FUCKS SAKE” She stopped and turned to look at all her officers who stared at her in anticipation.

“BEGIN THE BANQUET AND GET SHOTS OF REDRUM FOR EVERYONE!!!!” The officers began to jump up and down excitedly and Redrum’s grin grew ear to ear. Hamstorrs hands were shaky from the last two shots of Redrum. He was slightly horrified but undeniably intrigued by the chain of events that had just occurred. Hamstorr observed as Glory_Hole made eye contact with Ragefish.

Before she began to walk to her quarters to suit up, she looked at him with a serious face. “Hey…Glory_Hole…” a subtle smile could be detected in the corner of her mouth.

“Yea Fish?”

“We’re gonna light those mother fuckers on fire”.
